After news of its GPT-like dialogue robot was reported by the Chinese newspaper, the 21st Century Herald, the Chinese e-commerce giant released a statement saying that they’ve been working on large language models and generative AI for some time. They're using Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies to simplify and automate expense reports and reimbursements. By automating more processes, they hope to increase audit efficiency and streamline reconciliation and reimbursements for accounting teams. Microsoft will test the solution with its employees and then it will be made available to other American Express Corporate clients with the option to integrate it into other expense management tools.
