1. GitHub introduces GitHub Models, enabling over 100M developers to access and experiment with AI models directly on GitHub, simplifying the process of building AI applications.

2. NVIDIA's new Blackwell AI chips are facing delays due to late-stage design flaws, pushing their release to early 2025, and affecting major customers like Microsoft, Google, and Meta, who have all placed bulk orders worth tens of billions of dollars.

8. NVIDIA allegedly scraped videos from YouTube, Netflix, and other sources without permission to train its AI models for products, according to a recent investigative report.

9. An autonomous robot dentist by Perceptive performed the first human dental procedure, completing it eight times faster than a human.

10. The U.K. government has canceled Β£1.3Bn worth of computing infrastructure projects, impacting its AI ambitions including Β£500M for the AI Research Resource and Β£800M for an exascale computer at the University of Edinburgh.

1. Thrive Capital raised $5Bn for its largest-ever fund, focusing on AI and later-stage investments, thanks to its early investment in OpenAI.

2. Groq, which develops custom chips for running generative AI models and high-speed inference compute, raised a $640M Series D, led by BlackRock. 

3. Contextual AI, which specializes in developing Contextual Language Models (CLMs) using RAG 2.0 technology to create production-grade AI systems for enterprises, raised an $80M Series A, led by Greycroft, w/ Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), Lightspeed, and other notable investors. 

4. Black Forest Labs, which specializes in creating open visual models for developers, raised a $31M Seed round, led by Andreessen Horowitz.
