The funding round values Inflection at $4 billion, and the company claims to have the world's best AI hardware setup, including the deployment of thousands of Nvidia's H100 graphics processing units (GPUs) in its cluster.
Microsoft, a major investor in OpenAI, is Inflection's cloud computing partner, while Nvidia has been closely collaborating with the startup on the development and deployment of its GPUs. CEO Mustafa Suleyman did not elaborate on the equity details of the funding but emphasized that Inflection AI retains IP and commercial independence.
