Hello everyone,
This week in AI will certainly go down in history. Major announcements came from most of the major players like Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic. And to think we started the week dealing with the collapse of SVB.
Speaking of SVB, before we get to the quick recap of this week's top News, Funding, and Content we wanted to share one of our first pieces of original content.

💰 Funding News
Adept, a software company that creates ML models to interact with everything on your computer, raised $350 million in funding from a Series B led by General Catalyst and co-led by Spark Capital.
HelloSelf, a virtual therapy provider that uses AI to quickly match patients with therapists and aims to further blend human and technological approaches to treatment, raised $20 million in Series B funding led by Octopus Ventures.
Nimble is an autonomous logistics and AI robotics company that uses machine learning to train its AI brain to handle products with swappable grippers effectively. They have raised $65 million in a Series B funding round led by Cedar Pine.
Monitaur, a Boston-based AI governance software company that helps enterprises build and deploy responsible AI and machine learning models, has raised $4.6 million in funding to accelerate growth, with Cultivation Capital leading the round.
Indian startup HealthPlix has raised $22 million in a Series C funding round led by Avataar Venture Partners and SIG Venture Capital. The platform uses AI to help doctors with prescriptions, diagnoses, and identification of critical elements in a patient's treatment.
Precision health company Perspectum has raised an additional $19 million in the second close of its $55 million Series C funding round led by Oppenheimer & Co. The company develops AI-powered medical imaging tools to improve the diagnosis of metabolic diseases and cancer.
Fairmatic, an AI-powered commercial auto insurance company, raised $46 million in their Series B led by Battery Ventures, bringing its total financing to $88 million.
Seldon, a machine learning operations platform, has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by Bright Pixel, They use AI/ML to deploy, manage, monitor, and explain ML models at scale.

1. Joseph Cox spoke with VICE World News about the future of AI scams.
2. Sciencephile made a great video about what Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is.
3. Matt Wolfe revisited Bing’s chat service.
4. He also made a very thorough breakdown of GPT-4’s release.
5. All About AI created a podcast summarizer using the ChatGPT API and Eleven Labs’ voice technology and went over his entire creation process.
6. Here's an awesome Twitter thread of side-by-side comparisons of prompts generated by Midjourney V4 and then V5.

7. ‘Possible’ a new podcast, hosted by Reid Hoffman+Aria Finger (with some assistance from GPT-4), features Trevor Noah as the first guest. They discuss the future of TV with AI.
8. Jackson Greathouse Fall turned GPT-4 into a moneymaking machine while inadvertently starting the HustleGPT trend. Tons of Twitter users are teaming up with GPT-4 to see which business can generate $100,000 cash in hand the fastest.
I gave GPT-4 a budget of $100 and told it to make as much money as possible.
I'm acting as its human liaison, buying anything it says to.

9. Midjourney can finally create accurate human hands.
10. But still doesn't understand context very well.
My favorite instance of this is AI artwork produced from the prompt 'salmon swimming in a river'. It is a mistake, but the kind of mistake that a child would make. That is precious.
