1. Khan Academy has announced its limited pilot of a GPT-4 powered learning guide. Khan Academy's district partners have been invited to opt-in to Khan Labs, a new space for testing learning technology. Additionally, the organization has invited the general public to join a waitlist to test Khanmigo, an AI-powered tool that mimics a writing coach and provides prompts and suggestions for students to write, debate, and collaborate. With this initiative, Khan Academy hopes to transform learning by bringing the benefits of one-on-one tutoring to all students.
2. Learn how a neural network functions with this video from 3Blue1Brown. He uses the example of teaching a computer to recognize handwritten numbers to explain why a neural network would be needed for this seemingly simple task and the math behind it all. You'll learn about neurons, layers, and how they help the computer recognize things like edges in images. It’s an easy-to-understand introduction to the immensely complicated technology and science that make up AIs like GPT-4.
3. Yufeng Guo of Cloud AI Adventures explains machine learning from the ground up, using concrete examples. In the second video, he walks us through the 7 steps required to create effective machine learning models.
