2. JPMorgan Chase has launched a generative AI tool named LLM Suite that assists with writing, idea generation, and document summarization, serving as a research analyst offering information, solutions, and advice for its asset and wealth management employees.

3. Morgan Stanley launches AI @ Morgan Stanley Debrief, a GenAI tool, powered by OpenAI, that generates meeting notes and action items for Financial Advisors

4. Apple's AI features, Apple Intelligence, will roll out by October, missing the initial iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 launch in September to allow more time for bug fixes, w/ full features now being introduced in stages through multiple updates across late 2024 to mid-2025.

8. Google updates its free Gemini 1.5 Flash, offering faster, smarter AI responses with a 32K token context window for complex interactions along w/ file uploads and analysis. 

9. iFixit, Freelancer.com, and other sites are reporting aggressive scraping by Anthropic’s ClaudeBot, impacting site performance and raising ethical concerns.

10. Runway's AI video generator, Gen-3 Alpha, was trained on thousands of videos without permission, including from YouTube, major entertainment companies, and piracy sites.

11. Elon Musk's Grok AI trains on user data from X by default, forcing users to manually opt out, and raising privacy concerns.

1. DocketAI, which leverages generative AI to provide instant, precise sales insights and automate document generation, effectively acting as an AI-powered Sales Engineer to support revenue teams, raised a $15M Series A, led by Mayfield and Foundation Capital.

2. Rillet, a cloud-based accounting and payment management software platform that utilizes AI to automate invoicing, expense claims, asset management, and business reporting, raised  $13.5M led by First Round Capital and Creandum w/ Susa Ventures and notable angel investors.
