TLDR: Microsoft has announced that Copilot-driven AI features will bring the power of GPT-4 to Microsoft’s productivity apps, including Teams, to leverage user data in the Microsoft Graph (calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings and more).
The new Teams app lays the foundation for next-generation AI experiences by providing users with context-rich information through natural language prompts.
Copilot-powered Teams will allow users to ask for a recap, check if their name had been mentioned, go into specifics of a particular subject being discussed, and more.
Microsoft also plans to bring Copilot as a chat experience within Teams and on Viva Engage, enabling users to stay on top of business developments and helping leaders draft personalized posts using generative AI.
