TLDR: Snapchat is expanding its generative AI features with an upcoming addition called "Dreams." This feature will use AI-generated selfies to place users in imaginative scenarios and backgrounds.
Users will upload clear selfies, and the app will create AI photos based on various angles, expressions, and lighting conditions.
"Dreams with Friends" is another aspect of the feature, allowing users to generate AI "dream" images with their friends included.
The references to purchasing "Dream Packs" suggest that Snapchat might monetize this feature in the future.

1. The AI revolution seems a product of recent innovations. But AI has been a part of the tech industry for a long time now. It’s permeated search, social media, and much more of the technology we use on a daily basis than we might think. Emily Chang of Bloomberg’s The Circuit sat down with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman to discuss the tech innovations that brought the AI industry to where it is, how this new AI wave is as big as the Internet and the iPhone, what AI means for different industries today, and what AI means for the near future. 2. Functions are the relationships between numbers that help physicists and mathematicians fundamentally describe the world around us. Being able to express and understand these numbers and the relationships between them is what has enabled human beings to advance technology and science to the point we’re at today. Now, we can rely on artificial intelligence to accelerate and enhance our understanding of reality by teaching it to understand these functions. In this video, Emergent Garden explains how neural networks can be trained to understand functions and demonstrates it visually so that you can watch as a neural network learns to understand and apply these functions to the real world.
